VOLUNTEER PROGRAM APPLICATION
Volunteering with HBR is a great way to contribute to our mission of helping dogs in need while having fun and making new friends! HBR has a culture of openness and inclusiveness. Our Hearts & Bones Rescue Volunteer Program involves many different activities from helping out at adoption and other special events to administrative and logistical support.
If you are 18 years or older, live in the New York City area, and can commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours per month, apply now! Once your application is accepted, you’ll have an opportunity to attend one of our volunteer orientation sessions to learn more about your role.
STAFF PROGRAM APPLICATION
The Hearts & Bones Staff Program is designed for volunteers who are ready and willing to make a greater time commitment to our mission. Staff volunteers typically dedicate a minimum of 3-4 hours per week to the rescue. HBR staff teams perform a variety of activities to make our operation run smoothly, such as coordinating medical support to our rescues, facilitating their adoptions, and much, much more!
